Blue Waxbill MD

Blue Waxbills are found in the north eastern areas of South Africa and also in Angola and Tanzania.

They prefer open thornveld with grass and bush and are often found in pairs and small groups, frequently in the company of other seedeaters.

They look for food on the ground eating small seeds, shoots and insects and fly into bushes when disturbed.
